Job Overview: As a Solution Engineer (SE) for the APAC region, you’ll be working directly with prospects and partners, helping transform them into customers and advocates. You’ll be trained and positioned as a blockchain / Web3 expert, guiding highly interested start-ups and curious large corporations alike to a better understanding of the value of servicing a live game on the blockchain, and the power of using blockchain technology for traditional gaming.

Responsibilities:

• Collaborate with customers across the APAC region by providing education, conducting demos, and proof of value projects.
• Represent customers' needs to the engineering team, ensuring feedback is incorporated into product improvements.
• Communicate engineering roadmaps and updates back to customers, providing clear, ongoing support.
• Develop new collateral such as blog posts, educational decks, demos, or starter kits to highlight the value of Blockus.
• Participate in customer events, conferences, and meetings, with an estimated 25% travel required.
• Build and maintain web apps (frontend and backend) and APIs that game studios can integrate to add Web3 capabilities (e.g., accounts, wallet, on-chain activity).
• Contribute to the development of secure smart contracts and Web3 infrastructure, integrating blockchain technology with traditional analytics platforms.
• Engage in R&D for cutting-edge technologies, bringing innovative solutions into live products.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or a related field.
• At least 4 years of experience in software development, with a focus on full-stack web apps and API development.
• Proficiency in TypeScript (React.js, Next.js, Nest.js, Node.js, Express) and experience deploying and maintaining web applications (AWS, Firebase, Swagger docs, E2E testing).
• Strong knowledge of blockchain technology, smart contracts, and experience with Web3 applications, especially in the gaming industry.
• Excellent problem-solving and communication skills, with the ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced startup environment.
• Passionate about blockchain, Web3 technologies, and the gaming industry.
